As a part of the project „Assist Ukraine together“, international non-governmental organisation „Ukrainian European Perspective“ is for the fifth time inviting children, whose fathers have died protecting their motherland in the anti-terrorist operation in the Eastern Ukraine, for the holidays in Czech Republic. We are cooperating with Ukrainian colleagues from NGO Children of heroes of Ukraine.

Project is supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Czech Republic. Previous projects in Prague were also supported by the Prague City Hall and the mayor of the city part Prague 4 Petr Štěpánek. This year the mayor of city Kolin Mgr.Vít Rakušan has kindly offered support to us.

This year we are planning to have the camp in the place close to Kolin. We have gained a long-term access to the recreation center close to Kolin, that can be used for our projects – and now we are actively preparing first entertaining and recreational camp for children from Ukraine here.

11 children aged 14-17 will arrive to Czech Republic, for the time from 16th till 23th of August, from 8 regions of Ukraine, accompained by 3 volunteers.

What we have planned for children: excursions to Kolin, Prague, Kutná Hora, visiting Prague ZOO, aquapark, Czech museum of silver, bobsleigh, lasergame, rafting and scooters in the natural park Český Ráj, stand up paddling in Pardubice, visiting horse farm Old Kolin and horseback riding, visiting center of crafts and herbal garden Botanicus, interesting workshops, meeting Czech boy scouts, many experiences, shared together, and opportunities to work as a team – because this is precisely where the friendships are born, including those for the lifetime.
